Kulwinder will be supporting Zubin Foundation’s Call Mira helpline (Hong Kong’s first helpline aimed at supporting marginalized ethnic minority women and girls in Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu and English). She will also develop content for support groups, and assist the team’s clinical psychologist in supporting intervention plans for EM children with special educational needs. Kulwinder was born and brought up in Hong Kong, and has experienced the challenges that EM children in Hong Kong face growing up. She graduated with a MSc in Psychology from the University of Edinburgh, and has experience working at the University of Hong Kong on research projects focusing on bereavement and End-of-Life Care. She has previously worked as a Bereavement Support Coordinator that provided emotional support to grieving members from diverse backgrounds in Vancouver, BC. Kulwinder speaks English, Cantonese, Punjabi and Hindi.
