How Students Can Get Involved

Volunteering, Fundraising, Inclusion Initiatives and More

Students have the power to create meaningful change. By sharing your time, skills, and commitment, you can support Hong Kong’s marginalised ethnically diverse communities and contribute to a more inclusive society.

We invite students to get involved in three impactful ways:

Hands on Volunteering

Engage directly with children, women, and elderly members through meaningful service and shared experiences.

Storytelling Sessions

Read stories in English and Traditional Chinese to grassroots children aged 5–12.

Chai (Tea) Gatherings for Women

Conduct sessions for grassroots women, centered on well-being, creative activities, and social connection.

Arts & Crafts + Gurdwara Visit

Engage lonely seniors through creative and community-based activities.

Book & Gift Drives

Organise collection drives for books and essential items for families in need.

Senior Socials & Health Checkups

Engage isolated elders, with activities on health and nutrition, arts and craft and mindfulness and well-being.

Prepare Meals & Gifts

Prepare food items and small gifts for Senior Socials.

Fundraising for a Cause

Support our programmes by leading student-driven fundraising initiatives. Raise funds through bake sales, donation jars, walkathons, school fairs, dress down days, and other student led events. The funds you raised can support:

Emotional Wellbeing

Provide counselling support and well-being packs for children.

Elderly Health Check-Ups

Support health screenings and care services.

Basic Needs

Provide meals and essential household items for elderly members.

Festive Celebrations

Support community celebrations throughout the year.

Championing Inclusion

Promote respect, cultural understanding, and belonging within your school community.

Talks, Trainings & Workshops

Invite The Zubin Foundation to speak on racial inclusion and cultural sensitivity at your school, student society or clubs or in the community.

School Clubs & Awareness Campaigns

Lead initiatives that promote racial equity and understanding.
