Shalini Mahtani, founder, The Zubin Foundation (Hong Kong)
Shalini Mahtani is the founder and CEO of The Zubin Foundation, the Hong Kong-based think tank dedicated to addressing social issues such as ethnic minority welfare, patient care and women’s empowerment. Inspired by the memory of her late son Zubin, the foundation supports vulnerable groups through initiatives like the Call Mira helpline for women and girls, mental health counselling and policy recommendations. The social advocate is also the founder of Community Business, Asia’s pioneering organisation promoting workplace diversity and corporate social responsibility. Recognised globally, Mahtani has received accolades such as the MBE from Queen Elizabeth II and was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.
