Ethnic
Minorities

Ethnic minorities - excluding domestic helpers - make up three percent of Hong Kong’s population. They are important contributors to, and pillars of, Hong Kong's economy. However, they are grossly underrepresented in public life, and every day they face institutional and social barriers to success and fulfillment.

Hong Kong’s future success as a multicultural society and dynamic economy depends on ensuring this fast-growing group is heard and included.
