Diversity List 2020:
Women’s Voices and celebrating 5 years of Diversity List
Hong Kong’s non-Chinese population plays an important role in international trade, professional services, education and many other fields, yet their voices are mostly absent in policy discussions that affect the lives of themselves, their communities and the city as a whole. In light of this, The Zubin Foundation believes that there is a need to increase the representation of ethnic minorities in decision-making positions – including the Advisory and Statutory Bodies (ASBs) of the HKSAR government.
As of September 2020, the government has appointed twenty-three Diversity List candidates to serve on thirty-six government advisory committees. For details, please click here.
This year, we launch Diversity List 2020: Women’s Voices, a list of 24 smart, talented, passionate women who have the necessary professional skills and knowledge to serve on Hong Kong Government and Statutory Advisory Boards.
